• Green Day is still noted for having one of the most conversely lyrics that attack political issues.
• Green Day represented the younger teen punk crowd mostly due to some of its depressing and or relatable lyrics that had issues such as growing up with social angst.

Blink-182

• Blink 182 is one of the most notable break ups in punk history because of the large fame they accumulated.
• Blink is known for its schnanagens in music videos, and in public.
• Travis Barker who plays drums for the band is very well known in the music industry because of him having honed his skill behind the set
